Now you can send customized one-off messages to some or all of patients in your schedule. This has been our most highly-requested feature for the past few months, so we’re very happy to announce that it’s launched!
How our customers are using it
There are lots of applications for this tool. That’s one of the reasons we love it – Quick Message is simple and flexible and lets our customers communicate with their patients when and how they need to. In less than 5 minutes, you can create a message, target exactly the patients who need to get it, pick a delivery method, and get your message straight to the people who need it.
Here are some of our favorite stories from customers about how they’re using (and loving) the Quick Message tool:
- Notifying all same-day patients that a procedure scheduled at one clinic has been moved to another.
- Notifying patients with appointments next week of parking lot construction and alternative parking locations.
The big bonus here is speed and ease of use. Whatever you need to tell your patients, you can get information in their hands faster than ever before.

How to
To access the tool, select “Quick Message” from the “Group Messages” drop-down in your Vital Interaction Portal:
From there, you can easily create a new message to send by email, text, and/or IVR. That means you can choose to use your patients’ default communication method, or override to send by one or many other methods.
Once your message is ready to go, select “Group Message” from the “Group Messages” drop-down. Filter for appointment time, clinic, doctor, and appointment type as needed to select the patients you need to target. Then press send. It’s that easy!
