MGMA Leaders 2024 Recap

October proved to be an action-packed month for Vital Interaction, as the team took part in several key healthcare trade shows, engaging with industry leaders and showcasing our hyper-personalized patient engagement solutions. One of the standout events was the 2024 MGMA Leaders Conference, held from October 6 to 9 in Denver, CO. As a proud partner of MGMA, we attend all of their annual events, and Leaders is always a highlight for us. A Spotlight on AI and Patient Engagement

To no surprise, one of the key themes that emerged during this year’s MGMA Leaders Conference was the growing focus on AI and patient engagement solutions. As healthcare providers continue to look for ways to enhance operational efficiency and improve the patient experience, AI has become a centraltool in optimizing workflows. Many exhibitors presented groundbreaking technologies designed to streamline administrative tasks, enhance predictive analytics, and automate patient communication, with AI at the forefront of these advancements. The healthcare sector is increasingly shifting toward digital transformation, with AI solutions driving more personalized and automated approaches to patient engagement. From predicting patient needs to automating outreach, AI is transforming how practices engage patients—improving outcomes and reducing administrative burdens. Vital Interaction stood out as a leader in the patient engagement space with its innovative, AI-powered solutions that truly personalize the patient experience. One key differentiator was our ability to provide provider-recorded calls, enhanced by AI, that use the patient’s name to create a more personal and impactful connection. Our focus on reactivating at-risk and disengaged patients resonated with attendees, as we tailor outreach based on appointment type, ensuring that communication is not only relevant but timely. This targeted, data-driven approach helps practices close care gaps and improve patient retention, setting Vital Interaction apart from other engagement solutions.

Our Team

Representing Vital Interaction at the conference were several key members of the team, including Ben Chapman (CEO), Jacob Moore (Account Executive), Landon Carsey (Account Executive), Brittany Williams (Solutions Consultant), and Craig Hollis (Director of Demand Gen). The team’s on-site presence was energetic and collaborative, offering live demonstrations and engaging one-on-one consultations. Their goal was to help healthcare practices identify gaps in patient reactivation and provide tailored solutions for automating patient outreach, reducing no-shows, and increasing overall appointment volume. Brittany Williams, who recently transitioned from an ophthalmic practice administrator role to become a Solutions Consultant at Vital Interaction, brought valuable first-hand experience and insights to the table. Her deep understanding of the challenges faced by healthcare providers, particularly in patient communication, resonated with many attendees.

Vital Interaction’s Vision for the Future

Vital Interaction is always evolving, driven by the increasing demand for smarter, automated solutions in patient reactivation and communication. “We’re seeing a growing demand for automation in patient reactivation, and the MGMA Leaders Conference provided the perfect platform to share our solutions with healthcare leaders,” said David Kreitzer, Head of Marketing at Vital Interaction. “Our goal is to help practices improve care delivery by enabling them to reach the right patients at the right time with the right message—automatically.” The response at the conference underscored the value of Vital Interaction’s solutions, and the team looks forward to expanding its presence at future MGMA events, where they’ll continue to demonstrate how their technology helps practices stay ahead in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.
