By combining fax-parsing technology with intelligent automation, AI is now transforming how practices handle incoming referrals from start to finish. Instead of relying on spreadsheets or manual follow-ups, referrals are automatically identified from faxed documents, electronic forms, or online submissions and placed into a centralized worklist. From there, personalized outreach is triggered—via text, email, or even AI-generated video—engaging patients to get their appointments scheduled quickly and efficiently.
